As living beings, we are made up primarily of water and we need it every day to stay alive. Water is life-giving, and is, therefore, precious. Many say that life first began in the ocean and I believe that must be true. We are tied to water; the tides deeply affect our life cycles. The moon exerts her pull on the tides. If we think about our bodies, the planet, the cosmos, we recognize that we are all connected – part of the same huge organism.
Holistic thinking has led to our current desire to use natural products whenever we can, as human-made artificial products have turned the natural order of life upside-down. We are bombarded with chemicals every day, and life-destroying diseases are part of that displacement. Many of us have lost touch with the earth, affecting who we are as individuals and how we relate to one another.
As a personal symbol, the spiral is my own expression of creativity and connectedness. Sure, the nautilus – like an idea – starts out small in the beginning, but as it matures, each segment echoes and carries with it the characteristics of the previous younger section. And so life grows.
My products are my small way of returning to the gifts of the Earth and using my own creativity and intelligence to help restore natural moisture to my dried-out skin.

If you don’t believe me, take a look at the ingredients in commercial lotions. Nearly all of them contain alcohol, petrolatum, mineral oil and the like, all of which dry your skin. The same is true of chemically based bath gels, which feel good initially but actually do more harm than good for skin because they are mostly nasty chemicals.
